>A new webcomic is up at Act-i-vate.com called, “The Revolution Will Be Televised”. It tells the true story of two Americans who happened to be in Cairo at the start of the Jasmine Revolution.
Where this differs from other pieces about Middle Eastern revolutions (such as Persepolis) is that, instead of being a part of the revolution, the main characters are bystanders who are caught completely unaware of the magnitude of what is happening around them. They know nothing more than the reader does. In fact, given that the revolution occurred two months ago (a lifetime on the internet), the audience may know a great deal more than the participants in this comic.
The first seven pages of the story are up now. There is no indication if this is going to be a weekly comic, but I will definitely be checking back regularly for updates.
Check it out for yourself!
