This evening, three graphic novelists present their new work. Gabrielle Bell presents The Voyeurs (Uncivilized Books), a memoir of five years in the life of cartoonist, diarist, and filmmaker Gabrielle Bell. Tom Kaczynski presents Beta Testing the Apocalypse (Fantagraphics), which riffs on dystopian modernity, bleak man-made landscapes, and the psychological effects of technology. Noah Van Sciver presents The Hypo: The Melancholic Young Lincoln (Fantagraphics), which follows the young Abraham Lincoln long before he became president, as he is forced to battle a deep depression.
